A QSL for NDB BRZ Breza, the “sister” beacon of NDB RI Rijeka. This approach and landing beacon is situated on the opposite end of the Rijeka Airport runway in Croatia. As with the other beacons in Istria such as NDB PLA and KAZ for Pula Airport, Mr. Birkić, head of Istria/Kvarner ATC was so kind to confirm my report.
This beacon shows up nicely on Googlemaps, although somehow I initially made a mistake in identifying the proper location and posted the decommissioned NDB KO on 438 kHz. Thanks to Dominic for pointing this out in the comments!
Hello, I live very close to this NDB (I could see it from my window) and this used to be NDB KO on 438 KHz, not BRZ on 400 KHz. It also hasn’t been active since around 2023 and the whole antenna isn’t even present anymore.

Of course you are totally correct on this. Don’t know how I messed it up (in my post on NDB RI the map clearly indicates a different position for BRZ). The good news is that NDB BRZ is visible on Googlemaps as well, so I included a picture. And in memory of NDB-KO I kept that picture on this page as well.
