OK, have to admit that I had an antenna up and running on the attic of our new house, but that was indoor… This is the first outdoor antenna I put up, and let’s see. First impression is that the noise floor is pretty low, but local thunderstorms spoiled listening. Next weekend there is a CLE for NDB enthousiasts, we’ll see!
What’s your impression of HF propagation conditions yesterday and today? Seems to me that they weren’t nearly as good today, as on Saturday.
Hi Franz. I only listened MW the last few days. Had the feeling that night of Sat/Sun was more disturbed than the days before. But I’m still getting used to my new QTH which gives so much better reception due to a 10 to 15 dB lower noise floor.
